Cookies Policy
The cookies we set, what each one does, and how to switch them off if you'd rather we didn't.
Here's the short version: this page tells you what cookies Gamma IPTV drops on your device when you visit gammaeiptv.online, why we drop them, and how to clear them out. If you want the bigger picture on how we handle your data, our Privacy Policy covers that.
1. What's a Cookie, Really?
A cookie is just a tiny text file. When you load a page, your browser tucks it away on your phone, laptop, or tablet. Next time you come back, the site can read it and remember you — your language, your login state, that toggle you flicked from monthly to yearly pricing. Without cookies, the web would forget you every five seconds.
Two flavours exist. "Session" cookies vanish the moment you close your browser. "Persistent" cookies hang around for days, months, or until you delete them yourself.
2. Why We Use Them
We don't set cookies for fun. Each one has a job:
- Keep the basic site working — pricing toggles, the trial form, the mobile menu.
- Remember whether you said yes or no to non-essential cookies.
- Show us, in aggregate, which pages people actually read so we can stop maintaining the ones nobody visits.
- If you opt in, show you promos that are relevant instead of generic. That last one only fires after you click accept.
3. The Cookies We Actually Set
Essential Cookies
These run the site. Without them, basic stuff breaks — you can't submit the trial form, the menu won't open, the pricing toggle freezes. There's no opt-out for these because the site literally won't function. We're not tracking you with them; they're plumbing.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
cookie_consent |
Stores your cookie consent choice | 1 year (localStorage) |
Analytics Cookies
We run Google Analytics. It tells us things like "the FAQ page got 3,000 views this week" — never "Sarah from Manchester read the FAQ for 47 seconds." The data's anonymised and grouped. We can't reverse-engineer it back to you.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google Analytics — distinguishes users | 2 years |
_ga_* |
Google Analytics — session state | 2 years |
These don't fire until after you've clicked "accept" on the consent banner. If you decline, they never load.
Third-Party Cookies
If you click out to PayPal or Stripe to pay, those sites set their own cookies once you're on their domain. That's between you and them — we don't see those cookies and can't control them. Their privacy policies are worth a quick read if you're curious.
4. Your Choices
First time you land on the site, a banner pops up asking what you're cool with. You can flip your choice any time using the controls below — no need to email anyone.
Reset Your Consent
Hit the button. We'll wipe your stored preference and the banner will show up again next page load. Easy.
Browser Settings
Want full control? Every browser lets you block, delete, or quiz incoming cookies:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
Heads up: blocking everything will break parts of the site. The trial form and pricing toggle need their essential cookies to work.
Opt Out of Google Analytics Everywhere
If you want to stop Google from tracking you across every site, not just ours, grab the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Install once, done forever.
5. When This Policy Changes
We'll update this page if our cookie setup changes or the rules around cookies tighten up. The "Last updated" stamp at the top will move whenever we make a real change. Worth a glance now and again.
